- Project of the week - VisualLangLab
- If you are observing the crop of new languages springing up at present (like Kotlin, Ceylon, etc.) and think to yourself "I could do better than that", well, now's your chance.
- VisualLangLab is a graphical tool for designing language grammars.
- The tool gives you the ability to examine the resulting abstract syntax tree from a code snippet passed through your grammar, and helps you write the grammar you want.
- And it's not just for full blown languages. The project could be used for developing free-form domain specific languages just as easily.

- Google has launched Wallet for Android.

- There are lots of rumors and speculation surrounding the imminent release of an Android tablet from Amazon.

- It looks like Google is getting set to introduce a new language: Dart, a new language for structured web programming.
- Has Microsoft found a way to keep PC owners from installing Linux on their machines?
- Google Plus is now open to all, and the hangouts feature has added screen sharing and document collaboration, sketchup integration and a developer API as well.
- Adobe has released Flash Player 11 and Adobe AIR 3.
- Dick picked up a logitech revue to replace the now defunct apple TV v1. Can't wait for the android market to be available on it.
- Next week is the public launch of the Tesla Model S cars!
- James Gosling left Google already?
- More on James - he had quite a scare at the Reno airshow.
